Housing Counselor, Gwinnett Housing Corporation:
The Housing Counselor will provide housing counseling and education to renters, prospective first-time homebuyers, existing homeowners, and homeowners in distress. The Housing Counselor also works to prevent foreclosure of a current home by assisting clients in overcoming obstacles with current financial situations, credit scores, and financial budgeting and will develop corrective action plans, working with and analyzing clients overall financial status to identify the best solution for each client. In addition to working with distress clients to prevent foreclosure, the counselor works with the lending institutions regarding loan products for purchasing a home or refinance a current mortgage.

Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university required

Must hold a HUD certified Housing Counselor certification or be able to pass the HUD certified Housing Counselor exam

Homeownership experience in any aspect - Mortgage lending, realtor services, closing of mortgage loans, loan processing, and loan              modification

Case management experience is preferred

Intake Specialist, Gwinnett Housing Corporation:
Some of the Intake Specialist's main functions will be providing administrative support for the homeownership center staff, including answering the phones, data entry, conducting intake interviews and income calculations as well as maintaining client files.

High School diploma or GED required

Two years training or experience in customer service and office work

Administrative experience is a plus

Assistant Property Manager, Lawrenceville Housing Authority:
The assistant Property Manager reports to the Property Manager and is responsible for meeting with current and prospective residents to determine housing needs and interviews them to determine eligibility for housing, shows vacant units to prospective residents, maintains resident files, coordinates preventative maintenance schedules and manages the front lobby during office hours.  For a full job description and further list of duties, see the link below.

Must possess a State of Georgia driver's license and maintain a good driving record

Must be available for occasional overnight travel for training

May be required to work an unusual work schedule

Must pass employment drug screening and criminal background check

The following certifications must be obtained within one year of employment:
Public/MultiFamily Housing Manager
INSPIRE Certification
Rent Calculation
Fair Housing
Occupancy Specialist
Enterprise Income verification (EIV)
