As part of the next steps needed to relocate the Lawrenceville Housing Authority project, the Lawrenceville City Council recently approved $199,190 needed for three components of site work.

The Lawrenceville Housing Authority Relocation project was bid out separately. Georgia Site Services was the low bid for each of the site work components and will perform the work. The approved bids include $55,440 for permanent storm water detention, including landscape block walls, $57,250 for curb and gutter installation, and $86,500 for the gravel base and first pass asphalt paving.

The Lawrenceville Housing Authority will replace a neighborhood that is being moved to make room for the city’s South Lawn development. The 36-unit community near city hall is being moved to a site on Constitution Boulevard at Scenic Highway.
