GHC Awarded $1.5M in CHIP funds from Georgia Department of Community Affairs

Gwinnett Housing Corporation is excited to announce that it has been named as one of four nonprofits in the state receiving Community Home Investment Program(CHIP) funds from the Georgia Department of Community Affairs (DCA).   DCA awards CHIP funds annually to selected non-profits for the purpose of providing and rehabilitating affordable housing across the state of Georgia.  The 2024 award received by GHC will be used to assist in the construction of 34 affordable homes to qualified home buyers in Gwinnett County.  As a recipient, GHC will be able to continue its mission to provide safe, decent, and affordable housing for Gwinnett County.
